Is my data safe?
Yes — Breakfin uses Plaid for bank connections. Your bank credentials are never stored by Breakfin. We use read-only access, AES-256 encryption at rest, and TLS in transit.
How does Breakfin connect to my bank?
Via Plaid, the industry-standard financial data platform used by thousands of apps. Your bank credentials are entered directly on your bank’s website — never on ours.
Can Breakfin move money or make transactions?
Never. We have read-only access. We can see your balances and transactions but cannot initiate any transactions.
Does Breakfin sell my data?
Never. We don’t sell your data to third parties or advertisers. Your financial data is used only to provide the service.
Is there a mobile app?
Breakfin is a Progressive Web App (PWA) — you can install it directly from your browser on iPhone or Android. No app store required.

Yes — Breakfin supports shared accounts (teams) so multiple people can track finances together.
What if my bank isn’t supported?
You can add manual accounts for assets or accounts Plaid doesn’t reach (e.g., real estate, vehicles, foreign accounts).
